We are based over at 50/1, Govind Park in the Jagat Puri area of New Delhi. Sams Facilities Management Pvt Ltd has been running out of this spot for a while. It’s a residential-feeling area but we use the space for all our coordination. Facilities management is basically what it sounds like—we look after buildings and make sure things are running okay. Our office is tucked away in this part of Delhi, and it’s a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of schedules pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites. The office is where we gather to sort out the logistics and keep track of who is where. It’s not a polished corporate office with a receptionist out front. Usually, someone is just yelling over a desk about a maintenance issue or a supply order. We deal with the daily stuff that keeps a building going, like cleaning and repairs. Living and working in New Delhi means dealing with the heat and the crowds, and our office reflects that reality. It’s a functional space. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on getting the jobs done and keeping our clients' places in decent shape. It’s a lot of practical work and making sure the staff is on top of their tasks.
