Lakshmi Nagar is always busy, so getting to the office in the morning usually involves dodging a few rickshaws and delivery bikes. Our space is pretty straightforward. We have a few rows of desks, some filing cabinets that don't quite close right, and a small area where we keep the electric kettle. We handle various business tasks and solutions, which mostly involves a lot of typing, phone calls, and looking through spreadsheets until our eyes get tired. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows whose turn it is to go out and get the samosas for the afternoon break. The walls are a bit plain, maybe with a calendar or two hanging up, but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy glass walls or expensive rugs. Most of the work is just steady and routine, making sure the paperwork is sorted and the clients get what they asked for. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to wait around, which is when the best office gossip happens. It’s a practical environment where we just focus on getting the day's tasks finished so we can head out. We’ve been in this part of J K Block for a while now, and it really feels like home to us after all these years.
