If you walk down Hargobind Nagar and look for number 6228/4, that’s where you’ll find Comptech. It’s not a big tech hub or a glass building, just a local spot where we handle computer stuff. Inside, there are usually a few desktops opened up with wires spilling out and tools scattered on the benches. We spend a lot of time squinting at motherboards or trying to figure out why a particular piece of software isn’t behaving. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly. We get people from around the neighborhood dropping off their laptops or asking about parts. The shop isn't always the tidiest because there’s always a project in the middle of being finished. We have shelves of old cables and spare monitors that we might need one day. It feels like a real workshop, not a retail store. Sometimes we lose track of time when we’re deep into a repair. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything. We just like fixing things and making sure the machines work like they should. Hargobind Nagar is a decent place to be, and we’ve gotten to know the regulars who stop by to chat. It’s a simple setup, and we prefer it that way. No corporate talk, just us and the hardware. It keeps the lights on and keeps our hands busy, and that’s enough for us most days.
