If you’ve ever been to Rashid Market, you know it gets incredibly crowded and busy, which is quite the contrast to the work we do. Being on the ground floor is handy for when we have to move equipment in or out, although the noise from the street can be a lot sometimes. We’ve got a small setup here. It’s mostly just a few rooms filled with computers and the usual office supplies you’d expect. The neighborhood is full of small shops and people selling all sorts of things, so there’s always something going on right outside the door. Inside, we just focus on getting through the day’s work. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, with all the desks and cables everywhere, but it gets the job done. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby; usually, if someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It’s a very local way of doing things. We handle tech tasks and software bits, mostly just trying to stay organized in the middle of all the Rashid Market chaos. It isn't a polished office from a magazine, just a practical space where we spend our hours making sure things are running okay. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the backup, but we're used to it.
