Candid Software is based at H1/A in Laxmi Nagar, which everyone knows is one of the busiest parts of New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to Laxmi Nagar, you know the streets are always full and there is a lot of energy everywhere. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a software place, so you’ll see plenty of monitors and keyboards and people staring at code for hours. It’s not a silent office; there is usually some chatting about bugs or how to make a certain feature work better. The furniture is a bit mismatched, and we have wires everywhere, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We don’t have a big HR department or a fancy reception. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk up to whichever desk is closest. We spend our time building things for the web and trying to solve technical problems that pop up. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we just order some local food from the corner and keep going. It’s a practical, hands-on environment. We aren't a huge company with thousands of employees. We are just a small team in Laxmi Nagar doing our best with the tech we have. It’s honest work, and we like the challenge of making things work the way they should on a computer screen. We keep our tools updated and just focus on the code we are writing today.
