The office is located in Jain Bhawan, A-144, over on Street Number 3 in Shakarpur. It is a lively area of New Delhi, and the pin code is 110092 if you are looking it up on a map. Working for a magazine like Business World means things are always a bit chaotic. There are always deadlines looming and people running around with different drafts of articles. The desks are usually covered in magazines, both old and new, and there are stacks of paper everywhere you look. It is not the cleanest office you have ever seen, but we generally know where everything is. Mostly, anyway. We spend our time writing, editing, and talking to people for different stories. Shakarpur is a busy place, so there is always noise coming in from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small pantry where we make tea, which is basically the heart of the office. Sometimes we have to stay late when a new issue is about to go to print, and those nights are usually fueled by snacks from the shop down the road. We are not a big corporate media house with a skyscraper; we are right here in Shakarpur doing the work. It is a lot of long hours and staring at screens until your eyes hurt, but it is what we do. It is just a regular bunch of folks putting a magazine together every single month.
