Bharti Computer Service

We have been sitting here in Shakarpur for quite a while now. If you head over to Rita Block, specifically at R 24, you will find our small setup. It is not some fancy corporate office with glass walls and receptionists. It is just a few of us working on computers and trying to get things running again for people who walk in. The street outside is usually pretty noisy with rickshaws and people going about their day, which is just how it is around here. We spend most of our time looking at screens or opening up CPU cabinets that have gathered a lot of dust over the years. Some days are really busy and the phones do not stop ringing, while other days we just sit and drink tea while waiting for a part to arrive. We do not have a big fancy sign or anything, just the work we do every day at Bharti Computer Service. People from around the neighborhood know where we are. It is a bit cramped inside with all the cables and spare monitors piled up in the corners, but we know where everything is. We just focus on the hardware and software problems that come our way. It is basic work but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most of the time, we are just happy when a tricky machine finally boots up correctly. That is basically the whole story of our life here in this part of Delhi.
