Baba Hair Cutting Saloon

If you walk down Gali No. 4 in Vinod Nagar West, near the Saraswati Kunj Apartments, you will find Baba Hair Cutting Saloon at A-189. It is a tiny shop, really. I have got two chairs and a lot of different combs and scissors spread out on the counter. The walls have some old posters of movie stars that have faded over time. I try to keep the place tidy, but hair gets everywhere no matter how much I sweep. It is a neighborhood spot, so most of my customers live in the buildings right around here. We get a lot of kids on Sunday mornings, and the place gets noisy with them running around. I mostly do basic cuts and beard trims. I do not use a computer for appointments; you just show up and wait your turn on the wooden bench outside or the stool inside. The lighting isn't the best, but I know these mirrors well enough to see what I am doing. Sometimes I stay open late if a regular customer calls and says they are stuck in traffic or working a double shift. It is just me working here most of the time. The tea stall nearby brings over a cup every few hours, which is nice. It is a simple way to make a living, cutting hair and listening to the neighborhood news. I have been at A-189 for a long time and I know every crack in the tile.
