Our office is tucked away at Sf-34 in the Aditya Mega Mall in Karkardooma. It’s a bit of a different setting for an export business, being right there opposite the CBD Ground and near Cross River Mall. Most people come here to shop or watch a movie, but we are upstairs dealing with export documents and international shipping schedules. Ashutosh Overseas Foods Exports Pvt. Ltd. might sound like a big name, but we are a small team working out of this mall space. It’s actually quite convenient because we have everything we need nearby, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare on weekends. We spend most of our day on the phone or on the computer, tracking shipments of food products going to other countries. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the paperwork matches up with what’s in the containers. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical office where we get the work done. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when there’s a big event at the CBD Ground, but we just close the windows and keep going. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just handle food exports and try to make sure everything gets where it’s supposed to go without too much trouble from customs or the shipping lines. It's a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but once the container is on the ship, we can finally breathe a little easier until the next one.
