Being in Patparganj Industrial Area means we are surrounded by a lot of noise and trucks moving around all the time. Our office is on the second floor of building 351 in the F.I.E section. It is not the fanciest building but it works for what we do. Mostly we are staring at screens or talking about software stuff. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep so you get a little workout every time you come to visit us. During the summers it gets really hot in this part of Delhi but we have the fans going. Sometimes the power fluctuates a bit but that is just life in an industrial zone. We have a few desks scattered around and plenty of tea cups because we drink a lot of chai to keep going. It is not like those corporate offices in Gurgaon with glass walls. We have more of a practical setup here where things get done without too much fuss. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time so we know how each other works. Traffic on the way into Patparganj can be a real headache in the mornings so some of us show up a bit late or stay a bit later to avoid the rush. It’s a decent place to work if you don’t mind the grit of the industrial area. We just focus on the tech work and try to keep things moving.
