If you look for 27-28 Gandhi Nagar, you’ll find us right in the Krishna Market area. It’s a very active place with lots of shops and people moving around all day long. Ananda Krishna Associates has been tucked into this corner of the market for some time now. Our space is usually filled with the sounds of the market outside, which can be a bit loud but we’re used to it. We deal with various property matters and legal documents that people need help with. It’s a lot of sitting at the desk and making sure every line is filled out correctly. The market is a good place to be because everyone passes through here eventually. We have a lot of regular faces who pop their heads in to say hello while they’re doing their shopping. There’s always a bit of a shuffle trying to find space for all the files we accumulate. We keep things informal here; there’s no need for suits or anything like that. Just come in, sit down, and we can talk about whatever property issue is on your mind. Gandhi Nagar has a specific feel to it, and we’ve become a part of that over the years. We might be busy with a stack of papers, but we always make time to listen to what someone needs. The floor is a bit worn down from people coming in and out of the market all day. We have an old wooden cabinet where we keep all the records, and it takes a bit of a trick to get the drawers open.
