Our office is at 319 in the Functional Industrial Estate in Patparganj. It’s one of those places where every building looks a bit like the next one so you have to watch the numbers carefully. We have a decent-sized space here that we use for everything from storage to administrative work. The estate is always full of activity with tempos and rickshaws squeezing through the lanes. Inside our unit, it’s a mix of organized piles and various items waiting to be sent out. We don’t really have a lot of staff but the people we do have know their jobs inside out. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are more focused on getting the orders out the door than the decor. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate so we usually just bring our lunch and eat together in the small break area. The windows look out onto the street where you can see the daily life of Patparganj unfolding. There’s always someone shouting for a loader or a driver looking for directions. We’ve stayed in this location because it’s practical and we have everything we need close by. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. We just do the work and stay out of the way.
