Down in Surajmal Vihar, near Anand Vihar, you’ll find our office. Delhi is always moving fast and we are right in the middle of it at C 234. We deal with cement every single day of the week. It’s mostly about coordinating where the trucks need to go and making sure the supplies are at the construction sites on time. Our office is small but it works well for us. We have a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a whole lot of paper. Sometimes the local tea guy comes by and we take a quick break to talk about the weather. It's not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. Just a local spot where we handle the orders and keep the records straight. We talk to builders all day long. Some are happy and others are stressed out because their project is running behind. We try to help them out as much as we can without making things too difficult for anyone. The area gets incredibly crowded during peak hours so getting in and out of the street can be a bit of a headache. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the local shortcuts. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect with cement, but we keep things moving. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just sit down and get the work done one day at a time.
