Gujarat Ambuja Cements Limited

This is the Delhi branch for Gujarat Ambuja Cements Limited, based out of Abhimanyu Apartment in Vasundhra Enclave. It’s AM-305, so we’re right in the middle of a residential complex. It’s a bit unusual for a cement company office, but it works for us. The enclave is a quiet corner compared to the rest of Delhi, though the main roads nearby are always jammed. We handle a lot of the coordination for the local market from this apartment. It’s not a huge space, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the files and stationery. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and use the kitchen for our breaks. The neighbors are used to us by now, even with all the phone calls about tonnage and delivery dates. Working from an apartment gives it a different vibe than a typical office park. It’s a bit more relaxed, though we still have a lot of work to get through every day. Most of the time we’re tracking shipments coming into the city or dealing with billing issues. The internet can be spotty sometimes, which is frustrating, but we make do. It’s a practical setup for managing things in the capital without being stuck in a glass tower downtown. We just focus on the daily grind and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the month.
