Jay Kay Company

Jay Kay Company is situated in 102, New Lajpat Rai Market. We are very close to the Jain Mandir in the Chandni Chowk area. If you’ve ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how busy it gets. It is a constant rush of people, carts, and noise. Our shop is right in the middle of all that action. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it, but we’ve been here so long it feels like home. The market is old and the space is tight, so we have to be very smart about how we stack our goods. There isn't much room to move around, but we make it work. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and saying hello to the other shopkeepers nearby. We spend the whole day dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a lot of manual work and talking to people. We don't have a computer on every desk or anything like that. It’s more about the physical presence of being in the market. By the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. We just handle the business the way it’s always been done in this part of the city. It’s practical, it’s loud, and it’s how Jay Kay Company keeps going year after year. We stay focused on the customers and the stock we have on hand every day.
