Aakaar Infotech

Shakarpur is always full of students and young people looking for coaching or a place to stay, and Aakaar Infotech is right in the middle of it at E-55. We spend a lot of time looking at computer screens and fixing laptops that have slowed down. People come in with all kinds of problems, like their keyboard stopped working or they caught a virus from a random download. The shop is filled with old monitors, tangled wires, and boxes of RAM. It’s not the most organized place, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Sometimes a student will come in really stressed because their project is stuck on a broken hard drive, and we try to see what can be saved. The street outside E-55 is narrow and has a lot of food stalls, so there is always a smell of something frying. We have a couple of benches for people to wait on, though they usually just stand around and look at the spare parts on the shelves. It’s quite a change from the quiet suburbs. Working here means you see a lot of different people every single day. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know our way around a motherboard. It’s a decent way to spend the day, even when the heat in the summer makes the fans work double time. We’ve been at this Shakarpur spot for a while now and we just keep at it.
