A One Men S Saloon

A One Men S Saloon in Shakarpur, Delhi. We are right on the main road in the main market area. The noise from the traffic is constant but you get used to it after a week or two of working here. It is a narrow shop with mirrors on both sides to make it look a little bigger. We have been in Shakarpur for a while and the location is good because so many people pass by every minute. The chairs are old style with the heavy metal bases. We do hair cutting and beard trims mostly. There is a lot of dust from the main road so we are always cleaning the glass windows. In the afternoons it can get a bit quiet and that is when I usually eat my lunch in the back room. The 110092 area is always moving and we try to keep up with the pace. We have a small shelf with different types of hair oils and creams that we use for the customers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the hand clippers instead of the electric ones. It makes the work take longer but we get it done. Most of our customers are regulars who live in the nearby blocks. They come in every few weeks and we talk about family or local politics while I work on their hair.
