B K Construction

We've been doing construction stuff around Durgapur for a while now. Our spot is right in the DVC DTPS colony, Unit 3, Quarter GD 8 C. It’s a busy area and we keep ourselves busy too. Most days you'll find us out at sites or just managing things from this little office in the 3rd unit. We started B K Construction because there was work to be done here and we knew how to do it. It isn't always easy, the weather gets hot and materials sometimes don't show up on time, but we manage. People know where to find us if they need a wall fixed or a bigger project handled. We don't have a big fancy office with glass doors, just this place in the colony. It works for us. We handle the local jobs that come our way. Sometimes it’s just small repairs, other times it’s more involved. We just take it day by day. Being part of the DVC community means we see our neighbors every day while we work. It makes the job feel more personal. We try to be fair and just get the work finished so people can go about their lives. If you walk past Unit Colony, you’ll probably see our sign or some of our gear lying around. That’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just the ones who get things done in our part of Durgapur 7.
