Saraswati Vidyapeeth Higher Secondary School has its roots deep in Shankar Nagar. Durg is a growing place, and we’ve seen a lot of changes from our spot here. The school building isn't new, but it's held up well over the years. We take care of kids from the early grades all the way through higher secondary. It’s a lot of responsibility. Most of us living nearby know exactly where the school is because the morning bell is quite loud. We don't do anything too flashy here. The classrooms have desks, some charts on the walls, and a lot of history. You'll see parents dropping off their kids on scooters every morning. It gets quite crowded on the street around 8 AM. We just focus on the daily routine of teaching and making sure the kids are safe. Shankar Nagar is a decent neighborhood for a school. Sometimes the playground gets a bit dusty in the summer, but that's just how things go in Durg. We’ve had families send all their children to us over the decades. It's a regular school with regular people working in it. We deal with the usual paperwork, the occasional broken window, and the cycle of the school year. It’s honest work. No big corporate offices or anything, just a local school doing what it needs to do for the community here in Durg.
