Prayas Study Club

Our location is right by the railway crossing in Supela, situated above Mahendra Travel in Sector 10. Being near the tracks means you can hear the trains passing by every now and then, which is just part of the atmosphere here at Prayas Study Club. It’s a spot where students come when they need a place to sit down and actually get some studying done. We have rows of desks and chairs, and we try to keep things organized so everyone has enough space. It is not a fancy library with marble floors; it is just a solid, functional space. The stairs going up can be a bit steep, and the building has that lived-in feel you find in older parts of Bhilai. We spend our time managing the seats and making sure the lights are working. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during exam season, and we have to shuffle things around to fit everyone in. We don't have a big staff, just enough of us to keep the place open and the water cooler filled. People come here because it’s a practical environment. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. It’s just a room for people who have a lot of reading to do and want to get away from the distractions at home. It’s been our routine for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the trains and the focus of the students.
