Gate Acedmi

Gate Acedmi is located in Modle Town D in the Nehru Nagar area of Bhilai. It is a pretty specific part of the neighborhood, and most people around here know the way. We have a set of rooms that we use for our daily activities. It is not a very large space, but it fits everyone well enough if we organize the batches right. The desks are lined up in rows and there is always a stack of practice papers sitting on the front desk. We spend a lot of time preparing for the technical subjects. You will often see students standing around in the corridor discussing some problem or the other. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea during the long evening hours. The floor is just plain stone and we try to sweep it every morning before the first person arrives. It’s a very dedicated environment because the exams the students are preparing for are quite tough. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who take care of everything from teaching to cleaning up at the end of the day. The parking out front can get a bit crowded with scooters, but we manage. It’s a humble place without any corporate polishing. We just focus on the books and the teaching. It is a bit of a grind sometimes, but that is how it goes when you are studying hard in a place like this.
