Easwar Bricks

We are over at number 541 in Batlagundu. It is a pretty straightforward place where we work. We spend our days out in the yard under the sun. Making bricks is not a clean job, so we are usually covered in dirt and clay by lunchtime. The area around Batlagundu is beautiful but the work itself is quite hard. We have a few simple machines to help us out but most of the stacking and moving is still done by hand. We have a small shed where we take our lunch and keep out of the rain when it pours. There are no fancy offices or corporate meetings here. It is just us and the bricks. We have been at this for a long time and my father actually started it many years ago. We know the soil around here very well. People from the village come by to chat or place an order for their new walls. We don't have a big delivery fleet, just a couple of old trucks that have seen better days. But they get the job done and get the bricks where they need to go. The yard is usually quite busy with the sound of bricks clinking together as we load them. We try to keep things organized but a brickyard is always going to be a bit chaotic.
