Angaalaeshwari Hollow Block

Our yard is Angaalaeshwari Hollow Block, and you’ll find us in Thangachiammapatti, near Kovilur Post in Vedasendhur Taluk. It’s a rural spot, so things move a bit slower out here, which I don’t mind. We make hollow blocks for the local farmers and villagers who are putting up barns or small houses. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and stay close to home. It’s just a small yard with a few workers from the village. We use a simple machine and a lot of muscle to get things done. The sun is usually quite hot, so we try to get most of the heavy casting done in the early morning hours. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just a small shed where we keep the cement bags dry. If someone needs blocks, they usually just drive their tractor over and we load them up. We don’t do any big promotions or ads. Word gets around when you do decent work. I’ve known most of my customers since they were kids. It’s a simple way of living. We make the blocks, we sell them, and we use the money to keep the place going. Sometimes we have a chat and a tea while the truck is being loaded. That’s just how it is at Angaalaeshwari. We’re just local people helping other local people build things. It is just our daily life here.
