Down here in Dubaharpo Haldiana, things move at their own pace. Ajijur Mahalat Farmer Producer Company Limited is really just a group of us local farmers trying to figure things out together. You can find us over at Ajijur’s place in the village. We spend most of our time worrying about the soil and whether the market prices will hold up. It’s hard work, waking up before the sun is even fully out. We mostly grow what everyone else around Tapan grows. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just plant, we wait, and we hope for the best. Sometimes the crops are great, and sometimes we struggle with the pests. We decided to register this company so we could buy things like fertilizer and seeds a bit more easily. Dealing with the paperwork was a headache for us, but we managed to get it done. Our address at 733127 is where we usually meet to talk about who is planting what. It’s not a corporate setup with desks and chairs everywhere. Usually, we're just standing around or sitting on the porch. We know the land here in Ps Tapan like the back of our hands. We aren't trying to be anything big. We just want to keep our farms going and make sure the families here can keep working the fields. Every day brings a new problem to solve, but that is just part of the life we chose here.
