Nasiriba Producer Company Limited is located in Dhanubhanga village, under the Dhupdhara police station. We operate out of Thaching Ram Kachari’s place. We are a small group of farmers from around here who wanted to see if we could do better by working as one. In Dhanubhanga, most of us have been doing the same kind of work for decades. It’s not easy to change how you do things, but we realized we had to if we wanted to survive. We don't have any fancy equipment or a big budget. We just have our land and our willingness to work hard. We spend our days in the fields and our evenings talking about how to get our products to market. Sometimes we have disagreements about how to run things, but that’s normal when you’ve got a bunch of stubborn farmers in one room. We just want to make sure we get a fair price for the sweat we put into the ground. It’s a local effort, through and through. We don't try to sound like anything other than what we are—people from the village trying to make a go of it. We deal with the bugs, the heat, and the bad roads just like everyone else. We aren't promising anything big, we are just working together to keep our families going and the community strong.
