Khilikhang Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Gombhirkhata village, which is in the Debitola area of Dhubri. Hriday Kumar Brahma is the person whose place we use as a base. We are a small group of farmers just trying to get by. There isn't anything fancy about what we do. We wake up early, head to the fields, and stay there until it gets dark. Our address is Vill- Gombhirkhata, Debitola, Dhubri, 783339. We don't have any big marketing plans or corporate strategies. We just talk about the crops and how to get them to the market without losing money. The land in Dhubri can be good, but it takes a lot of effort to keep it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to work together so things are a little less hard for everyone involved. Sometimes we sit around and talk about the price of fertilizer or the lack of rain. It’s not very exciting stuff, but it’s our life. We use simple tools and do a lot of the work by hand. That’s how it’s always been done in Gombhirkhata. We started this producer company because being alone in this business is too risky. This way, we have each other’s backs when things get tough. It is just us, the land, and our daily work.
