Mizba Agomani Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Kaldoba, right near where Jabbar Ali lives. If you see the 250 Kva transformer, you are basically there. Mizba Agomani Farmer Producer Company Limited is not some big corporate thing. It is just us farmers from the local area trying to manage our crops together. Farming in this part of Assam can be tough when the rains do not come on time or when they come too much at once. We spend a lot of time talking about the soil and which seeds are doing better this year. Most of us have been working these fields since we were kids. There is a lot of paperwork nowadays which we are not too fond of, but we get through it. Sometimes we meet up under the shade to discuss how to get our produce to the bigger markets without losing money on the transport. The roads around here are not the best in the monsoon season. It is a lot of mud and waiting. We do not have a receptionist or a lobby. You just show up and ask for one of us. We grow what we can and try to make sure everyone in the collective gets a fair shake. It is honest work and it keeps the village going. People here work hard and we do not spend much time on fancy talk. We just want the crops to grow well every year.
