Minati Agro India Private Limited

Minati Agro is a relatively small setup that we have going over at Jadumani Swain’s place in the Nuagan area. It is technically a private company, but it does not really feel very private since almost everyone in the village knows exactly what we are doing every day. We focus mostly on the agro side of things because that is what the land here is suited for and what we know best. It is a very basic operation we run here. We do not have a big staff of employees or a fleet of fancy trucks parked outside. Usually, it is just a couple of us handling the incoming orders and making sure the supplies get to where they are needed on time. We started this business to have a more formal way of doing our transactions in the local area. Nuagan is a small place, so we try to keep things as simple and as honest as possible. There is really no point in trying to sound like a big international company when we are just working out of a regular house. We spend most of our time looking at the quality of the produce and talking to the local people we buy from. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours and we have to do all our record-keeping by hand in a notebook, but we are used to that. It is just how things go around here. We just do the work.
