You can find us over in Angul, specifically in Soubhagya Nagar at Shree Vihar. Our address is a bit of a mouthful, 4th Lane, Plot No. 1971/8381. It is just a regular building in the 759122 area. We started Satakosia Farmers Producer Company because the farmers around Angul needed a place to call their own. We are not some corporate entity from the capital city. We are just folks who know about the land and the crops we grow. Most of our time is spent dealing with the day-to-day problems of farming. We talk about the soil quality, the seeds, and how to get things to the buyers without losing too much money. The office is usually cluttered with papers and maybe some samples of grain. It is a practical space for work. We do not have fancy uniforms or anything. Usually, we just show up in what we were wearing in the fields earlier that morning. It is honest work. We try to look out for each other. If one farmer is having a hard time with their harvest, the rest of us try to give some advice or help out. We have seen a lot of changes in Angul over the years, but the farming stays the same. It is hard work and long hours. This company is just our way of making sure we have a voice. We handle the business side so the farmers can focus on growing.
