Datree Farmers Producer Company Limited

Datree Farmers Producer Company Limited is our little group. We are based out of the home of Sandhyarani Behera in Kantapal. That is in the Dhenkanal district. Since we are a producer company for farmers, being in a place like Kantapal makes a lot of sense. We don't have a proper commercial office building. We just use the space we have to keep our records and meet with the local farmers. Most of us have been farming this land for generations, so we know how things work around here. We started this company to help our neighbors and ourselves by working as a group instead of alone. It’s not a high-tech operation. We mostly use paper and pens to keep track of everything. The air in Dhenkanal is good, and it’s a quiet place to live and work. We don't have any big corporate goals or things like that. We just want to make sure the people in Kantapal can sell their produce and get what they need for the next season. It’s a lot of talking and planning, but it’s worth it. We don't use any fancy language when we talk to each other. We are just regular folks who care about our village. Sometimes the work is hard, but we do it together. That is just how we operate here at Datree Farmers. We stay busy and we stay local.
