Out in Karnataka, we are located at 33, Faruqi Layout in Vidyanagar, Hubli. Steel Authority Of India Limited is the name on the door, but inside, it’s just a group of us working hard. Hubli is a busy town, and our office sits in a spot that’s quite easy to get to. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us. The office is pretty basic. We have some computers that are a few years old and plenty of shelves for all the files we accumulate. Working with steel keeps us busy. There is always a lot to manage, and the days go by pretty fast. We don't have any of that fancy corporate culture you hear about. We just sit at our desks, do the paperwork, and talk to each other like normal people. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the documents, but we know where everything is. It’s a very practical environment. We have our lunch together and talk about local things happening in Hubli. It feels like a small family in some ways. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big speeches. We just want to make sure the work is handled correctly. If you stop by, you’ll see we are just regular folks doing a regular job. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we are happy to be part of the Vidyanagar community for all these years. We try to keep it simple and straightforward.
