Simran College For Higher Studies

If you find yourself in the Rorabandh area of Sindri, you’ll probably see our building. We are Simran College For Higher Studies, and we are located right near the SBI bank. In fact, most people just use the bank as a landmark when they are coming to visit us. Dhanbad can be quite a busy place, but here in Sindri, it feels a bit more like a proper community. Our college is a straightforward place. We have the classrooms and the basic facilities you’d expect for higher studies. It’s not one of those huge universities with massive gates, but it works for us and the students. The walk from the main road isn't far. Usually, you’ll see groups of students standing around the SBI entrance talking before their classes start. We spend our time making sure the schedules are followed and the rooms are ready. The weather in Dhanbad gets really hot in the summer, so we try to keep things as comfortable as we can inside. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just provide the space and the teachers for the local students who want to continue their education without traveling too far. It’s a quiet enough spot for studying, despite being near the bank. We’ve been here in Rorabandh for a while and it feels like a very familiar part of our lives now.
