Sdm School

Sdm School is located right in Phusbunglow, over in the Bhaga area of Dhanbad. This part of town is pretty industrial with all the mining and stuff nearby, so the air can get a bit dusty sometimes. We’ve been here at the 828301 address for years now. It’s a local school where most of the families from the surrounding colonies send their children. The school building has seen a lot of seasons, and it has that lived-in look you get with old buildings. We start early in the morning, and the street outside Phusbunglow gets crowded with cycles and the occasional bus. It’s a regular school day for us—teachers showing up, kids carrying heavy bags, and the bell ringing for different periods. We don't have any flashy stuff, just the basic classrooms and a small area for the kids to hang out during their lunch break. Sometimes the electricity goes out, which is common in Dhanbad, so we just open the windows and keep going with the lessons as best as we can. It’s a practical place. We focus on the basics of what the kids need to know for their future. The staff here are mostly local people who have been living in Bhaga for a long time and know the community. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood here, doing what schools do every day without making a big fuss about anything special.
