Gyan Ganga Public School

Gyan Ganga Public School is located over in Bhowra, Dhanbad. To be exact, we are at Gourkhuti, near Jhapara Mor, right on the Pathardih Jamadoba Bhowra Road. It is a busy spot with lots of traffic passing by all day long. We see the coal trucks and the local buses moving up and down the road from the school windows. The school itself is a place for the local kids to get their education. We have students coming in from all the nearby colonies and housing areas. The address at 828302 is home to our classrooms and the small playground we managed to set up. It is not a quiet area, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. The teachers here at Gyan Ganga Public School are local people who actually care about how the kids are doing. We spend a lot of our time on the basics, making sure everyone can read and write properly before they move on. Sometimes the building needs a bit of paint or a leaky tap needs fixing, but that is just part of running a school. We keep the gates open and the attendance registers ready. Every year we see a new batch of little kids starting out, and it is a lot of work getting them settled into a routine. We do not do things in a flashy way. It is just a regular school in a regular part of Dhanbad. If you are walking down the Pathardih road, you cannot miss us.
