S P M Bricks

We are S P M Bricks and we are located at No- 4, Nayee Duniya in Jharia. If you know Jharia, you know it is a place where there is a lot of coal and fire. Our yard is right in that environment. It is a bit of a gritty place to work but we have been here at Nayee Duniya for a long time. The air usually has a bit of smoke in it and the ground is dark from all the activity in the region. We have our stacks of bricks lined up in rows across the lot. Most days I am just checking the kiln or talking to the drivers who come to pick up loads. It is a very busy part of town and there is always something moving. We don't have much in the way of a fancy building. It is just a small room with some old ledgers and a ceiling fan that makes a lot of noise. The work is tough and the heat from the kiln is no joke when it is already hot outside. We just keep our heads down and get the bricks ready. There is always a lot of dust on everything including the tea cups in the office. People around here just call us by the name on the small sign out front. It is a regular local business in a hardworking town and we don't try to be anything else. We just stay at it day after day.
