Kaushalya Bricks

You can find Kaushalya Bricks right on the Kalyanpur Main Road. We are pretty close to National Highway No.3 in the Barwadda area. Because of the highway, there is always a lot of noise and dust from the big trucks passing by. Our yard is quite large, which is good because we need the space for all the bricks we have. We started this because there was a lot of building happening around Barwadda and Kalyanpur. Every day, we watch the traffic and wait for the customers to pull in. The sun can be quite brutal out here on the main road. We have a small cabin where we keep the papers and some water for the workers. It isn't a fancy setup, just a practical one for the work we do. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't bad. We spend a lot of time stacking and re-stacking. Sometimes the highway gets blocked, and everything slows down, but we just use that time to organize the yard. We see a lot of different people coming through from other districts. It's interesting to hear where they are heading. We don't do much advertising. People just see our stacks from the road and stop by. It's a simple way to run things. We focus on getting the loads ready and making sure the counts are right before the trucks leave for their destination. It is hard work, but it keeps the food on the table for us.
