We've been here in Housing Colony for a while now. Most people in Dhanbad know where we are. It’s just a small place for the kids, really. Every morning the parents drop them off and it gets pretty loud. We try to keep things organized but you know how little kids are. They run around and we just try to make sure they're learning something useful. The school isn't fancy or anything like those big private ones in the city. We have classrooms that are simple. Sometimes the fans make noise and we have to get them fixed. It's just a normal day here. We spend a lot of time helping them with their basic ABCs and numbers. It gets dusty outside sometimes because of the traffic but inside we keep it as clean as we can. Most of us living nearby work here. It’s a good spot because the parents don't have to go too far. We aren't trying to do anything crazy, just giving the local kids a place to start out before they go to big school. Usually, by the afternoon, everyone is tired and ready to go home. It’s a bit of a routine but it works for us. We just keep doing what we do every day. Nothing more to it than that. We like seeing the kids grow up a bit before they move on. It is a long day for the staff too.
