We are based in Bhalgadha village, which is out near Karon if you are coming via Madhupur. Most of the people involved here have been farming these lands for a long time. We decided to get together and form Maa Jayanti Farmers Producer Company Limited because doing things as a group just made more sense for the families around this part of Deoghar. The office is right here in the village. It is not a fancy setup at all. It is just a simple place where we can coordinate what we are growing and figure out how to get our crops to the bigger markets. Usually, it is a bit of a mess with paperwork and bags everywhere, but that is just how it goes during the busy seasons. We handle everything ourselves, from getting the right seeds to the final sales. Being together as a company helps us deal with the middleman stuff much better than we could alone. Sometimes the weather is tough on us and the roads are not always in the best shape, but we keep at it. People around here know us by name, and we are not trying to be some big corporate entity from the city. We are just local folks from Bhalgadha trying to keep the farming tradition going while making enough to support our families. If you ever come by the post office in Karon, you can find your way to us pretty easily.
