Our office is tucked away in Nehru Vihar at E-228, which is Vinay Jha’s place. It is a very lively neighborhood here in Delhi-54. We spend our time helping people find work and looking through stacks of resumes all day. It is a lot of phone calls and emails, to be honest. Some people walk in looking for a bit of advice, and we try to point them in the right direction if we can. It is not a huge corporate floor with hundreds of people in cubicles. Instead, it feels more like a small team trying to make sense of the current job market. We have a few desks set up and the shelves are usually overflowing with folders. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the traffic and people moving around, but we are all used to it by now. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage to get things done anyway. We are not trying to be anything we are not. We just happen to know a lot about who is hiring and who needs a job right now. It is satisfying when someone actually gets a call back after we have helped them out. Most of us have lived in Delhi for a long time, so we understand how hard the daily hustle can be. We keep the tea kettle going and stay focused on our lists. It is a simple setup for the folks around here.
