Our place is out in East Azimgunj, which is a small village area in the Munger district of Bihar. The mail comes through the P.O. at H. Kharagpur. It’s quite far from the big cities, so things move at a different pace here. Www.Pehchan.In is run from here, though the name sounds like it belongs in a tech hub. We mostly see green fields and dusty paths outside our windows instead of skyscrapers. Life in Bihar can be tough with the power cuts and the heat, but we make it work. The office isn’t much to look at, just a room with some computers and chairs. Sometimes the internet is slow because of the weather, but we just wait it out. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when there is a festival in the village. Then everyone is out on the roads and it gets quite loud. We've been in this spot for some time now. Most people around here know us as the folks who are always on their machines. We walk to work or take a cycle if we're feeling lazy. It’s a very local operation, and we don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to keep the site running and do our daily tasks without too much trouble. The neighbors often drop by just to say hello or share some news about the crops. It's a tight-knit community here in Azimgunj, and we like that.
