Our workshop is based in Nangal Raya at 1391/8. It’s a small place where we spend most of our days working. The name of the place is Wood N Art, and that’s pretty much exactly what goes on inside. There is a lot of carving and sanding happening throughout the day. The floor is almost always covered in thin wood shavings. We’ve got a couple of old wooden benches where we do our work. Nangal Raya is a very crowded area, so our space feels a bit tight sometimes. We started this whole thing because we just liked working with our hands. It isn't a factory, just a few of us making things one by one. We don't use many big machines, mostly just hand tools and some smaller equipment. It gets a bit noisy when the electric sander is running. My cousin comes in to help out on the weekends when we have a lot to do. We keep our tools hanging on the wall in the back so they stay organized. The shop has been at 1391/8 for a while now, and we like it here. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. Most people just come by the shop after hearing about us from others. Sometimes we forget to sweep up properly until the end of the week. It’s just a simple, practical life for us here. The front door squeaks a bit when you open it. We just do our work and go home at night.
