Arora Furniture

If you walk down Street No. 13 in the furniture block of Paharganj, you will find us. Arora Furniture is right there at No. 9514, and we are pretty close to the Mother Dairy. Being in Multani Dhandha means there is always something going on outside the door. The shop usually has a bit of sawdust on the floor and the smell of wood is pretty strong most days. We have got chairs and tables and all sorts of things squeezed into the space. It is not a showroom where everything is perfect and you can’t touch anything. It is a working shop. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make room for new pieces coming in or stuff that has just been finished. People from the neighborhood stop by a lot just to see what we have on the floor that week. We don't really have a big sales team or anything like that. It is just us showing people what we have built or what we can get for them. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery truck and we have to go out and help move things. It is a busy part of Paharganj but we have gotten used to the noise and the pace of it over the years. We just try to make things that will last a long time in someone’s house. That is really all there is to it at the end of the day. It’s hard work but it’s what we do.
