The Source India

We are over at Shop No. 4 and it’s a pretty simple setup. People ask what we do and mostly we just find things they need. The Source India is a name we picked because we try to get items from all over the country. It is a small space so things are stacked up high. Sometimes it’s hard to find the stapler under all the papers. We open up early and stay until the shutters go down in the evening. There is no big team here, just a few of us making sure orders go out. The shop isn't in a big mall or anything, just a regular street spot. We talk to suppliers a lot. Sometimes the deliveries are late and that’s just how it goes. We don't do much advertising. People usually hear about us from someone else who shop here. It's better that way anyway. We handle a lot of different goods depending on the month. The shelves are always changing. If you come by, you might see us sorting through boxes or checking the inventory list. We don't have a fancy waiting area. It's a working shop. We just try to keep things organized so we don't lose track of what’s what. It gets dusty sometimes with all the cardboard and tape. We just keep moving and getting through the daily list of tasks. There is always something to count or move around.
