Our Vodafone office is at 671/8 in the Phool Bagh Colony. This is over in Meerut. It’s a bit different from being in the middle of a huge city like Delhi. Phool Bagh Colony is a residential area, so the vibe is a bit more laid back. The building at 671/8 is where we handle our local business. We have a simple setup with the usual desks and chairs you’d expect. It’s not a flashy retail store, it’s more of an administrative spot. We see the same faces in the neighborhood every day. Meerut has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. The office itself is nothing special to look at, just a functional space. We spend our time here dealing with whatever comes up for the day. Sometimes it’s quiet, other times it’s a bit hectic, especially when there are issues to sort out. We don’t have any big corporate mission statements on the walls. It’s just a place where we work. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy to get to and not too crowded. The staff knows the local area well. We just show up, do what needs to be done for Vodafone, and head home. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We keep things simple and focus on the tasks at hand without any extra polish or unnecessary talk.
