Our office is tucked away at Q-292 in Jal Vayu Vihar, over in Sector 21 of Noida. If you know the area, it’s a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs, which is nice when we’re trying to look over plans or deal with paperwork. Working in infrastructure means we spend a lot of time thinking about buildings and how things are put together. Most of us have been around construction for years, so we’ve seen how much Noida has changed. There’s always dust on someone’s shoes from a site visit and the phone never really stops ringing. It’s not a polished environment by any means. We have maps pinned to the walls and stacks of files that need sorting. People come and go, usually in a hurry to get to a project or meet a vendor. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when deadlines are tight. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the actual labor of planning and managing projects. Sometimes we sit around the desk and just try to figure out why a supply shipment is late. It’s practical, everyday stuff. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the neighbors know us. We just try to get the structures built properly and keep things moving along in the right direction. Every project has its own set of headaches, but we handle them.
