Velocity Logistics

Working out of Paharganj is always an experience, especially at Shop No 884, Gali Chandi Wali. If you know the Main Bazaar, you know how tight the lanes are and how much stuff is constantly moving through them every single hour. Velocity Logistics is right in the middle of all that noise. We deal with moving goods, which is a real challenge when the streets are barely wide enough for a handcart. Most of our day involves coordinating with drivers who are trying to navigate the traffic outside or helping tourists and local shopkeepers send their bundles across the country. It is a lot of heavy lifting and even more paperwork to keep track of everything. The office is small and usually filled with parcels waiting to be loaded onto a rickshaw or a truck parked further out. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning that actually works, so it gets pretty hot in the summer. But the energy of Paharganj keeps us going. We have learned all the shortcuts through the alleys to get things moved faster. People come to us because we are here on the ground and we know how to handle the chaos of the bazaar. We don't make big promises, we just tell you when we think the package will leave and hope the traffic doesn't hold it up too long. It is a gritty job, but someone has to do it for the traders here.
