Our office is located at Lakshmi Nagar D 248/10. It’s tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the number 248 on the block. Max World Wide Express is basically just a few of us sitting around desks covered in shipping forms and coffee mugs. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to figure out where a specific crate has landed. The internet goes out sometimes and then we just have to wait it out or use our phones. It’s not a corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we try to stay on top of the logistics. The chairs are a bit old and the filing cabinet sticks if you pull it too hard. Lakshmi Nagar is always loud, so we usually have the radio playing to drown out the traffic. We handle a lot of international stuff, which means a lot of different stamps and weirdly shaped boxes. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually helps whoever walks in. We’ve been at this address for a good stretch of time now. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells snacks at the corner. It’s just a regular job for us. We make sure the paperwork is filled out and the addresses are clear. That’s about all there is to it. We keep doing the same thing day after day.
