Gagan Electrostat

Gagan Electrostat is located at number 9 in Ranjit Nagar. It is a very straightforward shop. We have got the heavy machines for copying and printing taking up almost all of the floor space. The smell of toner and warm paper is pretty much always in the air here. We do not have a lot of room for people to stand around and talk, so it is usually a place where you come in, get what you need, and head back out. Ranjit Nagar is a tight-knit area, and we have been here long enough that people know the sound of our metal shutters opening up first thing in the morning. We do not bother with big advertisements or fancy neon signs. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who need a simple document copied or a school project printed for their kids. It is repetitive work, but we do not mind it at all. The machines can be a bit temperamental sometimes, especially when the weather gets really hot, so we spend a fair bit of time fixing paper jams or adding ink. We are not trying to be anything we are not. We are just a small, local printing shop. We talk to the other shopkeepers on the street and watch the daily traffic go by. There is no corporate hierarchy here; it is just us doing the job. If you need something copied, you just come in and ask.
