Two Friends Photostate

Two Friends Photostate is over in Shakarpur, specifically in the Veer Savarkar Block on Vikas Marg. We are at Shop No.-210. The name is pretty literal; it started with two friends who wanted to run their own place together. Most of our day is spent standing next to the big xerox machines. It’s noisy and it gets pretty hot in the shop because those machines throw off a lot of heat when they’ve been running for hours. We do a lot of printing, copying, and binding for people in the neighborhood. During exam season or when there’s a lot of government paperwork to be done, the shop gets really crowded. People are always in a hurry and they want their copies right now. We just try to keep the paper loaded and the ink from running out. Vikas Marg is a hectic road, so there’s always people coming in from the sidewalk looking for a quick scan or a printout. It’s not a fancy setup. We have stacks of paper everywhere and the floor is usually covered in little bits of scrap. We don't have a website or any big marketing stuff. People just know where we are. We’ve been in Shakarpur for a good while now. We know the regular customers who come in for their daily work. It’s just a simple shop run by people who know how to handle a paper jam. We don't try to be anything else.
