Trainees

Our group, which we just call Trainees, is based in Aligarh, specifically in the Iglas area. We are located on Old Tehsil Road, right in the Teacher’s Colony. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is good because it allows people to concentrate. The name might sound a bit plain, but it’s exactly what we do—we work with people who are learning new things. Iglas is a smaller place compared to the main Aligarh city, so everyone kind of knows where Old Tehsil Road is. We set up here because it’s accessible for local students and workers who don't want to travel too far. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular structure in a residential colony, but we have enough space for our sessions. We don't have fancy marketing or a big sales team. Mostly, people hear about us through word of mouth from someone else in the colony or from a nearby village. We spend our mornings setting up and our afternoons working with whoever has signed up for training that week. It feels like a community effort more than a business. We deal with the usual power cuts and the dust from the road like everyone else here. It’s a very grounded way of working, and we like that we can help people right where they live without any big corporate fuss.
